True Scottish Quality
Our Scottish-spun cashmere has its origin from a world-renowned mill in Loch Leven, known for using methods that are true to the ways of the past. The Scottish mill has refined the traditional techniques over two centuries to create a cashmere that is truly unique.

The yarn
The raw fiber is collected from the soft, downy undercoats of the Mongolian goat of the Gobi desert.
After it arrives at the mill, a meticulous combination of time tested traditional and modern methods are applied, and the use of the natural purity and softness of Scottish water is essential to the feel and look of this exceptional cashmere.

Sustainability

Our Scottish supplier work with nomadic farmers in the Gobi Desert selected for their sustainable herding and grazing practices, and high standards of animal welfare and traceability. The dyes used to achieve the colour range are environmentally friendly so the water used can be cleaned and returned to the lake in Loch Leven.
